PUBLIC NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Governing Board of the Highland Pines Domestic Water Improvement District hereby gives notice of the Highland Pines Domestic Water Improvement District Governing Board, and any committees or subcommittees thereof, shall post notices of its meetings as follows:
- Notices and agendas of meetings will be posted at District Website - www.hpdwid.com for all Board Meetings and the Community Board, for the Annual Board Meeting in June located outside of the Fire Station at 1601 Happy Valley Road, Prescott, AZ 86305.
- Copies of agendas may also be obtained by contacting Municipal Accounts & Consulting, L.P., Natalie Galgano-Pinkley, Sr. Consultant, 240 S. Montezuma, Suite 202B, 928-800-5364, ngalgano@municipalaccounts.com.
- Except as to emergency meetings, the agendas of each meeting will be available to the public at such location not less than 24 hours prior to a meeting.
- Except as to emergency meetings, executive sessions may be held by the Governing Board meeting as provided in A.R.S. §38.431.03. Notice of executive sessions will also be posted at the posting place(s).
- Notice is also given that the Highland Pines Domestic Water Improvement District will hold its regular meetings at 10:00 a.m. on the 2nd Monday of the month, every other month beginning in February
- Notice is also given that the Highland Pines Domestic Water Improvement District will hold its meeting at Municipal Accounts and Consulting, 240 S. Montezuma, Suite 202B, Prescott, Arizona OR at the Prescott Public Library, 215 E. Goodwin Street, Prescott, Arizona.
- The Board reserves the right to hold special meetings at times and places other than mentioned above. Notice of time and place of any special meeting will be posted at the posting place(s) referenced above.
- However, the Board may change the regular meeting date, time, or place, at its discretion. Members of the public are advised to check the notices and agendas referred to below, to confirm the date, time, and place of the Board meeting.
- The Board may vote to go into executive session on any agenda item, pursuant to A.R.S. § 38-431.03(A)(3) for legal advice with the District’s attorney on matters as set forth in the Agenda.
- Members of the public may participate via telephone conference.
- Participation by the public is welcome via teleconference. The public teleconference will begin at 10:00 a.m. Members of the public may join the teleconference by dialing (605) 313-5530, when prompted for the conference ID, enter: 3607265.
- If any disabled person needs any type of accommodation to attend board meeting, please notify the Highland Pines Domestic Water Improvement District at 928-800-5364 prior to the scheduled meeting time.
- This Notice shall be effective immediately and shall terminate the date a superseding notice is posted on the website of the Highland Pines Domestic Water Improvement District or filed with the County Board of Supervisors.
- Consideration and discussion of comments and complaints from the public now or during topic related agenda item. Those wishing to address the Highland Pines Domestic Water Improvement District Board need not request permission in advance. The District Board is not permitted to discuss or take action on any item raised in the call to the public, unless the item is specifically noticed for discussion and legal action. However, individual Board members may be permitted to respond to criticism directed to them. Otherwise, the Board may direct that staff review the matter or that the matter be placed on a future agenda. The District Board cannot discuss or take legal action on any issue raised during the Call to the Public due to restrictions of the Open Meeting Law.
